| Adelaide 2007 – You’re
Invited Whether you’re a Business Manager or in a
senior support management role, working in a school is complex and
demanding and involves juggling a whole host of tasks, activities
and priorities. It’s the constant juggle of personal life
with the demands of professional obligations as strategist, manager
and administrator, that has led to the Conference theme for Adelaide
2007 …. “Keeping the Balls in the Air”.
The technical programme will focus on providing delegates with
information, concepts and skills that target the various priorities
in the juggle, and will provide some useful tips to assist delegates
in their personal and professional lives.
In
the context of the Conference theme, the imagery of the juggler
will be set within the broader arena of a circus. Expect the circus
atmosphere to permeate much of what occurs throughout the conference,
from the exhibition, to the social functions and even to the technical
sessions themselves.
So, for a week in October 2007, come and get some tips on keeping
the balls you’re juggling in the air …… run away
from your school, head to Adelaide and join the circus.
Note the dates in your diary now …. we’d love to see
you there.
