Located in the centre of Adelaide's major arts, culture and entertainment precinct, City West provides a hub for artists and academics alike, and an atmosphere that is ripe for the exploration of ideas and the pursuit of excellence.
The campus is located on the western edge of the CBD, just a short stroll along North Terrace from Adelaide Railway Station. City West is within walking distance of a range of nightclubs, bars, live music venues, cafés, restaurants and alternative fashion stores.
The campus has a permanent public sculpture displays and it neighbours the Lion Arts Centre which includes the JamFactory, Mercury Cinema and other galleries and arts organisations.
City West is also home to the Hawke Building which features the Anne & Gordon Samstag Museum of Art and Hawke Centre. The Hawke Centre was named in honour of Australia's former Prime Minister.
Getting to City West
City West is easily accessible by bus, with many routes stopping on North Terrace and Currie Street. As aforementioned, the Adelaide Railway Station is also just a short walk up the road. Explore Adelaide Metro to find your bus, train or tram to campus.
UniSA City West does not offer on-campus parking. You can park anywhere in the city through metered or free on-road parking and/or commercial off-road parking. The nearest commercial paid undercover park is:

Parking spots close to campus can be limited and may cost around $4 an hour to $15 a day (for early bird parking). For cheaper or free parking, you may have to park further away from your campus and the CBD.
Access parking for people with a Disability Parking Permit is available on all campuses, including the city campuses. Both council disabled parks and also disabled parks which are provided by the University can be accessed. Find out more.
Quality taxi cabs are available throughout the state and can be booked or hailed by the roadside. Pease note that a $2 service fee applies to all fares commencing from the Adelaide Airport. A taxi fare from Adelaide Airport to UniSA City West is approximately $18.00. Travel time from Adelaide Airport and the CBD is around 12 Minutes. Adelaide Free Bikes
Please visit Bike SA to view further information on free bicycle hire around the CBD and special riding tracks. A free bike hire service is offered within the CBD and a few surrounding suburbs. Adelaide has allocated bike lanes for bike riders, but caution still needs to be taken when riding within them.
