ABOUT MONA
The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) is now open, showcasing the largest private collection of art in Australia in a secular temple of over 6000m² dedicated to the assault and soothing of the senses. We are a cultural haven where outstanding art, architecture and antiquities are fused with the surrounding, natural landscape.  Mona offers visitors a unique Tasmanian experience; a perfect blend of wine, food, art and accommodation. We specialise in hand-crafted, cool climate wines, boutique beers and fine food which sources the best local produce for our constantly evolving menu. Our history, location and focus on the arts make us an icon of the Tasmanian tourism industry.
